Great Drama
My folks celebrated their 45th anniversary with a trip to the Boise Contemporary Theatre to see a play called “The Souvenir” about a great NY patron named “Madam Flo” who couldn’t sing - but was convinced she had a great gift of singing. The story is told through the eyes of her accompanist, and I’m told is a great story of compassion. The play was sold out this weekend, so call early if you’re interested in going. It runs through Dec. 22. I would love to go, but alas, these last weeks before Christmas have become packed! But, of course, in my Dad’s typical fashion, he told me the entire story from beginning to end…so I guess I don’t need to go anyway!
LOL!
So, enjoy - and if you go/went, feel free to leave a review here for everyone else to read.
