Merry Christmas!
I’ve been taking a few days to relax with family (and get over that cold!) but just wanted to pop on this morning to wish the world a Merry Christmas and share a favorite Christmas memory.
Memories warm the heart, and I have to say one of my favorite memories was when my Uncle Art and Aunt Alice came to Boise with their 2 boys one year. Of course my Oma (grandma) was there, too, as were the rest of my immediate family. My memory is foggy on age, but if I had to guess I was probably 7 or 8 years old. My cousin Eric brought his trombone (the same instrument as my oldest brother played), and there was MUCH music and singing.
I don’t remember much about the visit outside of that, but, I do remember the general feeling of warmth and happiness of being together, celebrating this special Holy holiday.
May the joy of this day stay with you throughout the year. Enjoy your time with your family today. Create new and special memories and traditions that will stay with your children their whole lives through.
