Egg-stra Fun for the kids!
In case you are looking for an Easter-ish thing to do with the kids, the fun kicks off this Saturday at Zoo Boise with Boise’s annual Easter “Eggstravaganza.”
Here’s what the city’s news release has to say about the event…
Kids will scramble for thousands of pieces of candy at the fifth annual “Easter EGGstravaganza” from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, March 15 at Zoo Boise in Julia Davis Park. The event is sponsored by 94.9 FM The River, KIVI Channel 6, Allstate and Paul’s Market. Join the Easter Bunny for Egg Scrambles, photo opportunities, face painting, Easter Egg toss, AstroJumps, animal enrichment activities and, of course, the zoo. Egg Scramble times are:
- Ages 2 & under (toddler/parent) — 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
- Ages 3-5 — 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
- Ages 6-10 — 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Admission is $5.25 for ages 12-61, $3 for seniors age 62 and older, $2.75 for kids age 4-11, and free for children age 3 and younger and Friends of Zoo Boise members, with pass and photo identification. For more information, visit www.zooboise.org or call 384-4260.
