Weekend Plan - March 13-16
Lots going on this month with 2 holidays (St. Patty’s and Easter!)… Here are a few things for the next 5 days or so if you’re looking for something fun!
March 13-16 (Thursday - Sunday) Go to the Home & Garden show at the Expo Center (corner of Glenwood and Chinden). Lots of stuff to look at and it will definitely get you in the mood for spending a little time out in your yard, creating that perfect garden oasis!! Call 377-3550 for more info.
March 15 (Saturday) Easter Egg-stravaganza at Zoo Boise (see previous post on this)
March 15 (Saturday) Take in a night of beautiful music at the Boise Philharmonic. They are doing their classical concert series and this night will feature Tchaikovsky. Call 344-7849 or visit www.boisephilharmonic.org for more info.
March 15 (Saturday) Participate in the Basic 5 St. Patrick’s day Run/Walk. This is an event put on through the YMCA. You can get more info from them at 344-5501.
March 15-16 (Saturday-Sunday) Cat-lovers won’t want to miss the Idaho Cat Show!! This is at Expo Idaho also, so you can make a day of it going to the cat show AND the Home and Garden Show!! More info on the cat show is available at 888-9934.
March 15 (Saturday) Get in the mood for St. Patrick’s day by heading down to the Tavern at Bown Crossing. The Giant Leprechauns will be playing live (Irish music band) and the Tiernan Irish Dancers will be dancing! They’ll be there from 3-5:30.
