Easter Sunrise Services

I’m not much of a morning person.  I wish I was, but by nature, I’m a night owl.  One of these years I WILL go to an Easter sunrise service…maybe when Easter falls a little later in the year when morning temps aren’t so chilly!  But, if you are interested in finding an Easter Sunrise Service, here are a few I found… FYI, I’m not endorsing any of these churches - most I don’t know too much about, so I can’t guarantee what the service will be like, or the soundness of their theology.

Lizard Butte Sunrise Service - You’ll need to drive out to the “sticks” for this one.  It’s off Highway 55 out near Marsing.  It’s a short walk up to a butte (that looks like a lizard).  For more info, you can call 454-9001.  The service begins at 7:00a.m.

Whitney United Methodist Church offers a Sunrise Service at 7a.m. at the Federal Way overlook.

Vineyard Christian Fellowship Sunrise Service at 7a.m., 4950 N. Bradley, Boise, Idaho 83714

If you are like me, and not an early riser, but just want to go to an Easter service, check out the following links. The Statesman’s link also has some other listings for events such as Good Friday, etc.
