This weekend… Bring on SPRING! (Even if the weather doesn’t cooperate…)

I’m ready for spring, but waking this morning to see daffodils poking through a mound of hail and snow Wednesday night’s storm left  behind just did not seem right to me…  It was a rude reminder that the calendar might technically say it’s SPRING, but mother nature still is behind the wheel!  Regardless, I’m thinking the Boise Flower & Garden show this weekend might be just what the doctor ordered!  Here are the details on that, plus a few other things to do this weekend…

Friday - Sunday (March 28-30) at the Centre on the Grove:  12th annual US Bank Boise Flower & Garden Show.  this is a great place to get inspired for your yard plans in 2008 and beyond!  http://www.gardenshowboise.com/

Go See “Tintypes” at the Knock em Dead Theater.  Shows are Friday and Saturday this weekend and the play goes through April 19. Visit http://www.kedproductions.org/

Go to the Holistic Wellness Fair at Expo Idaho (corner of Chinden and Glenwood). Saturday and Sunday, March 29 and 30 from 10-7.

Take the kids to see “Jack and the Beanstalk” at 2pm or 7pm at the Nampa Civic Center.  This is presented by the Missoula Children’s Theater.

Go Irish on the last Sunday in March at the Ha Penny Pub in BoDo.  At 6:30, they’ll have an Irish Jam session.  Sounds like good times to me!

Audition for a part in Boise Little Theater’s production of “The Sunshine Boys” on Sunday, March 30.  Auditions begin at 2pm at the Boise Little Theater.  The play runs May 23 - June 7.  100 E. Fort St. in Boise.
