Need a new job?

According to a recent nationwide survey commissioned by the University of Phoenix and Zoomerang, more than 2/3 of workers are looking for a new job at any given time.  So, it seems appropriate to post this announcement…since 2 out of 3 of my readers may be in that boat!
Good luck!

BURNED!!! (again)

The beginning of spring is not always such a “good life” day in the life of the Goodlife Gal’s house.  Its about the point that the grass starts really greening up that we start to see just how bad the problem is…and this year was no exception!

A flight of compassion

It’s not often you catch people doing something more than “the right thing….” especially on an airplane.  It doesn’t even fall in the category of “doing the right thing” because it was more.  I don’t know the word for it, but it certainly fall in line with “selfless compassion” and “sacrifice.”
Last night, I witnessed [...]

Family Pet Expo this weekend

Last weekend I drove past a truck selling “Labradoodles” on the side of the road (mix of Labrador and Poodle).  I’ve heard great things about the temperament of this mix breed.  I’d actually like to have one some day, but we’ve got an awesome family dog.  And, one is enough for me these days!    However, if [...]
