I’ll give you 2 guesses for what caused the below catastrophe…
I’m betting (if you were in Boise today…or anywhere near it!) you probably got it on the first guess - and no, it wasn’t a lightning strike (although that might have made me feel better).
Yes, that brown “stuff” under the table…was my table. I am kicking myself for not taking down the umbrella. I guess I got distracted by all the “stuff” of the afternoon. Between the carpet guy coming to fix the carpet, a play date and a phone call, I didn’t even realize the wind had kicked up again. I’m amazed it didn’t ruin the umbrella, too!
Note to self…take down the umbrella when the forecast calls for spring thunderstorms!! (And, just so you know, I’m generally good at remembering to do that…I just didn’t want to get plinked on the head during the hail storm and then forgot!) Next time, I’ll get plinked.
So much for our gorgeous weather, eh!?!?
