Mortimer’s is Closing

I was sad to read the news this week that one of my favorite restaurateursis closing his namesake downtown restaurant: Mortimer’s.  See website: http://www.mortimersidaho.com/
I’m glad to hear, however that they are continuing with Franco Latino in Eagle.  Jon is a phenomenal chef, and I encourage you to check out the restaurant if you haven’t!

“Good Morning, Good Morning!” (from Singin’ in the Rain)
“It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day for a neighbor…” (Mr. Rogers)
“Morning has [...]

An icky weekend in store…but here’s some stuff to do anyway!

Well, if you were planning an outdoor weekend, I feel kind of sorry for you… The latest forecast on Channel 7 is showing SNOW, RAIN, and lows in the 20s.  So much for my flowering trees…  I hate when this happens!
Best best for staying out of the cold would be checking out a play, going [...]

(This one was taken a couple months ago from the Boise Depot, looking toward downtown.  It’s a little fuzzy b/c [...]
